I really need to utilize my website and my Facebook page more for my photography. I shoot so many shows and rarely seem to get more than my best shots up for the Admiral Theatre when shooting for them. So, I am going to start now with blogging the shows I shoot here on my website. Let me start with the show I went to this week. The Joshua Redman Quartet at Jazz Alley. The first time I saw Joshua Redman was in 1994 during my senior year in high school. As a saxophonist his album "Wish" really spoke to me and started to help me really discover jazz in a way I hadn't before. Fast forward 20+ years later and I still try and go see him every time he comes to Seattle. He is my modern day John Coltrane. Truly the best tenor saxophonist of our day. Enjoy these photos from the show.
