Let me start with the show I went to this week. The Joshua Redman Quartet at Jazz Alley. The first time I saw Joshua Redman was in 1994 during my senior year in high school. As a saxophonist his album "Wish" really spoke to me and started to help me really discover jazz in a way I hadn't before.
Fast forward 20+ years later and I still try and go see him every time he comes to Seattle. He is my modern day John Coltrane. Truly the best tenor saxophonist of our day.
Enjoy these photos from the show.
